専門は英語教育、言語心理学。幼稚園での英語活動や小学校英語のカリキュラム・教材作成、教員対象の研修講座や講演を多数行う。
元NHKラジオ「基礎英語」講師。2012年からNHK Eテレ「えいごであそぼ」を監修、現在に至る。
『はてなに答える！小学英語』（Gakken）、『新レインボー小学英語辞典』（Gakken）など著書多数。

Kanta, Anna, and James are transported on a journey through Japan and the world by a strange backpack called Shark in this English-learning picture-book series.
The first book in the series is set in Nihonbashi (Tokyo), Okayama, and Otoyo Town (Kochi). Join the three kids in learning about each place including culture, daily life, and recommended spots while enjoying the colorful, lively illustrations!
There are many ways to utilize the content, such as listening to audio of the story by scanning the accompanying QR Codes, reading the story out loud, and discussing it in the classroom or as a family. <About the Author>
Kumiko Sato
She completed a doctoral program in English and Cultural Studies at Tsuda University and is a Professor Emeritus at Tamagawa University.
Her areas of specialization are English language education and psycholinguistics.
She has been extensively involved in curriculum design and the development of teaching materials for elementary school English and kindergarten English activities, as well as in giving teacher training courses and lectures.
She previously served for eight years as an instructor for the NHK radio program Kiso Eigo (Basic English). Since 2012, she has been serving as the editorial supervisor of the NHK Educational TV program Eigo de Asobo (Let’s Play in English).
She has authored numerous books, including Hatena ni Kotaeru! Shogaku Eigo (Answering Questions! About Elementary School English) (Gakken) and New Rainbow Elementary English Dictionary (Gakken).

MASUDAYA A-suke
An illustrator and designer active in fields such as publishing, advertising, and children’s and corporate education. He specializes in unique, dynamic character designs.
